A few weeks ago, I decided to go have a little weekend getaway to a place down in Georgia called Tybee Island. It is 25-30 minutes from Savannah, GA. I have been going there ever since I was a little. It is a beautiful that has been growing in interest and popularity over the years. Whenever I go down there I never want to leave. Several movies have been filmed there including The Last Song, (part of) Magic Mike XXL, The Gingerbread Man, The General's Daughter, Kiss of Fire/Claudine's Return, (the new, yet-unreleased, film with Robert De Niro and Zac Efron) Dirty Grandpa, (part of) X-Men: First Class, (the new, yet-unreleased, film with Adam Sandler and David Spade) The Do Over. Dirty Grandpa wrapped up on Tybee a few weeks ago, but the Adam Sandler and David Spade movie, The Do Over, has just begun filming. They even have a Tybee Island Pirate Fest October 8-11, 2015. I did not go running while I was down there, but I did go for several nice bicycle rides around the island with family and friends. Here are several pictures that I took while down there (along with some others previously taken):
